What's this crap? Access = 100% CPU usage?!!
On a Windows 2000 SP4 box, I loaded about a dozen updates and after rebooting the task manager shows system taking 100% CPU utilization, even in safe mode. I've left the computer up for several hours but it never gets better. I restored to a previous backup, but everytime I do the crit updates this happens.

Some of my Windows apps (AXUM for windows and Mathematica) start using up %100 CPU as soon as they are loaded even if nothing is being done. This happens both in a winos2 window and full-screen winos2 . I am not sure what is going on that requires %100 CPU of a 600 MHz Pentium III. Is there a winos2 setup parameter
